Logs in Lochalsh

I was impressed when I saw this vast log-pile in the railway yard at Kyle of Lochalsh, and thought that this lonely outpost on Britain's railway system was alive with goods traffic. Until I noticed that the siding that the freight was stacked next to - had been severed from the network!
